Expert evaluation of your existing product — structured, evidenced, and prioritised.
A UX & Usability Audit is an expert evaluation of your existing product against established usability principles, your stated user goals, and your business metrics. We identify the specific interface problems causing drop-off and confusion — and prioritise them by likely impact.
Every product team becomes blind to its own product. The flow that seemed obvious during development is confusing to new users. The terminology the team uses internally does not match what customers say. These problems accumulate quietly, visible only in support tickets and churn rates.
A UX audit brings an external perspective structured by method. We evaluate the interface against Nielsen heuristics, WCAG accessibility standards, cognitive load principles, and specific conversion or task-completion goals the product is designed to serve.
The audit process covers: heuristic evaluation of all primary screens; task analysis walkthrough of three to five critical user journeys; accessibility review against WCAG 2.1 AA; analytics data review to correlate usability problems with measurable drop-off; and a synthesis of findings prioritised by severity and estimated fix effort.
The deliverable is a structured report your development team can act on: each issue described, illustrated with a screenshot, categorised by severity, assigned an estimated fix effort, and accompanied by a specific recommendation. Typically 25-60 issues are identified, of which 5-10 are in the critical category.
